RAW FOOD DONATIONS
Kidder County Senior Services appreciates the amazing fresh picked vegetables and fruit that our local truck farmers (backyard gardeners) bring us each year. We hope you will understand that we can only accept produce that hasn’t been processed (cut, diced, peeled, cooked, packaged), we do appreciate your desire to save us time and labor, but we can only take produce in its harvested condition.
BAKED GOODS
YES, our seniors and guests “love, baked goods”, however all baked good donations must be from licensed kitchens/businesses, we unfortunately cannot accept (and it hurts to say this…) home baked goodies.
FINANCIAL DONATIONS
Financial Donations are accepted by Kidder County Senior Services & Public Transit. We are a 501c3 Non-Profit organization under Kidder County Council on Aging and your donation is tax deductible. Donations can be mailed to Kidder County Senior Services (KCSS), at 202 1st. Avenue NW, Steele ND 58482. Please include your Name & Address so that we can send you a receipt.
MISCELLANEOUS DONATIONS
We are not able to take miscellaneous items such as home goods (furniture, kitchen items, knick-knacks, whatnots, or grandma’s treasures), yard sale items, old holiday decorations, home-canned goods, or outdated store-canned goods.
At this time our bookselves are full, when we have an overflow of books and puzzles, we ask that you take books and puzzles to local thrift stores.
